The City is Inviting Bids for Ready Mixed Concrete for the City of Burbank, in Accordance With All Terms as Stated in the General Conditions and Bidder's Quotation Sheets as Part of Request for Quotation No. 2024-010. Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Online Q&A Yes Technical Questions Must Be Submitted Electronically Bidder's Quotation Sheets (Pages 2 Through 10) Must Be Used to Submit Your Bid. Failure to Provide All Pages and Sign the Forms Will Disqualify Your Bid. Only Wet Signatures Are Accepted. Digital Signatures and Cursive Fonts Are Not Accepted and Will Disqualify Your Bid. Separate Vendor Quote With Terms and Conditions Submitted With the Bidder's Quotation Sheets Will Not Be Accepted and Will Disqualify Your Bid. Bids or Forms Not Received by the Deadline Will Deem the Bidder Non-responsive and Disqualify the Bidder. To provide ready mixed concrete as required, to the City of Burbank, Public Works and Water and Power Departments. The City plans on picking up the majority of the orders but will at times require delivery. Deliveries of ready mixed concrete will be delivered to the job site and may require a cement pumper to access the area to be poured. Due to the possibility of using these services in support of a public works construction project, prevailing wages are required. In addition: o Hauling / delivery companies must be registered with DIR o Prevailing wage will be based on geographic area of the factory or where the batch plant is located. o Prevailing wage determination is for "ready mixer driver". o Hauler and delivery company to provide copies of certified payroll records within three (3) days of paying their workers. This Contract will be for one (1) year from Purchase Order(s) issuance, which will begin after all documents have been received and approved by the City. The City may desire the option of renewing the Contract on a year-by-year basis for a maximum of four (4) additional years. This Contract may be renewed yearly pending appropriation of expenditures in the City's budget and approval by City Council of the budget yearly. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any item or items of the bid, and to waive any informalities or technical defects as the interests of the City may require. Additions, Changes and/or Exceptions to the City of Burbank General Conditions Will Disqualify the Bidder and Will Deem Them Non-responsive.
