Reference Number 0000352886 Purchase Type: Term: 07/01/2024 02:00 AM EDT - 06/30/2025 02:00 AM EDT Option: (4) annual extensions DCSD is seeking firm bid prices to provide general inspection services for each of the District's thirty-one (31) aerial lifts. Aerial lifts are located at multiple different District buildings and require visits to each location in order for the Supplier to perform inspections. Inspection services will be performed during the summer months, so as not to interfere with school activities. Each aerial lift and its associated details are listed in Exhibit A - Aerial Lift Master Inventory & Pricing. Please complete Exhibit A and return with your quote. Pricing should be based on a single annual inspection visit for each aerial lift and not include the cost of repairs. The following list of inspections should be performed during each site visit: Review operator's manual for all functions and their controls. Inspect lower controls, including the provisions for overriding of upper controls. Inspect all chain and cable mechanisms for adjustment and worn or damaged parts. Inspect all emergency and safety devices. Clean and lubricate all moving parts and inspect filter element(s), hydraulic oil, engine oil, and coolant, as specified by the manufacturer. (make note of any fluid leaks) Perform visual inspection of structural components and other critical components, such as fasteners, pins, shafts, and locking mechanisms. Inspect batteries and chargers, for applicable DC models. Inspect placards, safety decals, and control markings. Review manufacturer inspection checklist for each aerial lift. Inspect emergency lowering means. Supplier shall provide a comprehensive inspection report to the Districts Environmental Health Manager, Zach Nannestad (zlnannestad@dcsdk12.org), after each inspection visit. All inspection reports should indicate which inspections were performed, any components that failed inspection, and any repairs recommended by the Supplier. All inspection visits should be scheduled by the Supplier with the responsible contact listed in Exhibit A - Aerial Lift Master Inventory & Pricing. Supplier shall contact Zach Nannestad if issues contacting the responsible contact arise. Question Deadline 05/24/2024 at 2:00 PM MT Questions are submitted online Yes DCSD reserves the right to: Reject any and all quotes received as a result of this RFQ. Waive or decline to waive any informalities and any irregularities in any quote or responses received. Adopt all or any portion of the supplier's quote. Negotiate changes in the scope of work or services to be provided. Withhold the award of contract.
