Reference Number 0000355240 Job Location: 4175 Castleton Court Castle Rock, Colorado United States 80109 General Description - The work to be performed under the Downtown Pedestrian Lighting Project contract includes the contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract and the project specifications. The work to be performed under this contract will include the installation of twenty-nine (29) pedestrian lights within the Downtown Castle Rock area. The contract shall be awarded based on the unit prices for the work shown in the Bid Schedule, and the contract documents. Appendix A (Initial list) represents known quantities at the time of the bid. The contractor will maintain unit prices through December 31, 2024. Contractor shall commence work no later than the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed. Completion of Work: Contractor shall commence work no later than the date indicated on the Notice to Proceed, and achieve Construction Completion (including punchlist items, cleanup, and demobilize) within sixty (60) working days. All work on bid schedules shall take place during the timeframe of July 24, 2024 - November 5, 2024, or as approved by the Project Manager. Buyer Preferences, Guidelines & Requirements General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % A Bid Guarantee in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid amount is required at the time of the Bid Opening. The Guarantee must be a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder. The successful Bidder shall provide the Town with a Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Castle Rock as an additional insured for all policies required in the General and Special Conditions, and with proof of Workers' Compensation coverage. If awarded the Bid, a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond are required within ten (10) days of receipt of the written Notice of Award, each for the total amount of the Contract Price. No Bidder may withdraw a Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date fixed for opening the Bids. The Town of Castle Rock reserves the right to cancel this Invitation to Bid; reject any Bid, in whole or in part; to adjust the quantity of Work to be done as mandated by budgetary requirements; and to waive informalities or irregularities in the Bids received; when it is in the Town's best interest to do so.
