Cyr Gates Center Sprinkler System Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security (certified check, cashiers check or bid bond with power of attorney for an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Money orders and/ or company checks will not be acceptable. Such security will be no less than 5% of the net amount bid, excluding taxes. Once the NOTICE TO PROCEED is issued, the project must be substantially completed in 100 DAYS . Rain delay days will be accepted. Liquidated damages are $300.00 per calendar day. The City of New Iberia reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause in accordance with the Public Bid Law LA R.S. 382214.B.
