Preparing existing District infrastructure to accept the direct installation of the Next Generation Fare Gates. Work includes labor and materials. Tasks include but are not limited to core drilling and saw cutting through concrete, brick, and terrazzo, and repairing them to access embedded electrical and communications ducts. This will involve extending the exposed ducts, installing new pull boxes and risers for the underfloor ducts, and installing electrical outlets, electrical wire, circuit breakers, and communications cables and circuits for copper, fiber optic networks with associated conduit and testing.
