The City of Meriden, Engineering Department seeks the services of a contractor to furnish labor and materials for the construction of concrete sidewalks, curbs, and ramps on Olive Street between Broad Street and Elm Street using Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds from the Department of Housing. The project will construct approximately 5,800 SF of sidewalk, 2,150 SF of driveway ramps, 1,450 LF of concrete curb, 270 SF of handicap ramps, 100 S.Y. Bituminous concrete driveway repair, and replace type C catch basin top. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the amount bid. A 100% Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond will be required of the lowest responsible bidder The City of Meriden is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer.
