Repairs of Concrete Sidewalks, Curbs, and Driveway Ramps Question Deadline 07/10/2024 Any questions about the bid document must be submitted in writing via email to meridenpurchasing@meridenct.gov. Any other format of question will not be answered. No request shall be honored if such request is made less than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids. On-Call Contractor to complete spot repairs to concrete sidewalks, curbs, pedestrian ramps, and driveway ramps on an as-needed basis. Small areas of damage caused by tree roots, snow plows, or other causes will be repaired under this contract, as well as sidewalk replacements under the CIDEWALK Program The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid, and to waive informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Meriden. No bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance bond for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the City of Meriden, will be required of the lowest responsible bidder.
