Demolition, site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Meriden, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project involves the replacement of existing joints on Meridian Street Bridge over AMTRAK (#06181) with new asphaltic plug expansion joint system. The Town of Groton reserves the right to waive any formalities or to reject any or all bids. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the form of bid bond or certified check subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Question Deadline 09/02/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be e-mailed to the Owner's representative (Greg Hanover: ghanover@groton-ct.gov) no later than 10 days prior to the bid opening date. Response to such questions will be issued by Addenda and posted on the bidding websites at least 5 days prior to the bid opening date
