*As of June 6, 2024 this project has been awarded to Bracalente Construction, Inc. for $263,898.23.* The work includes the 1,958 SY of road reconstruction and 10,018 SY of road milling and overlay. A certified check or bid bond for 10 percent of the total bid amount shall be required. Upon awarding, Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the successful bid will be required. Palmer Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/all proposals or portions thereof. This contract is subject to the following: the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions; the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions; the Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002; the Pennsylvania One Call Act, also known as the Underground Utility Line Protection Law, Act 287 of 1974, as amended; the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Conditions; the Nondiscrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions; requirement of a Non-collusion affidavit; and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. As Indicated in "2024 Palmer Township Paving Specifications" The Contractor is to place the type and depth of material listed in the Schedule of Prices. All depth to be compacted in place and work to include tack coat as per PennDOT Specifications Form 408, milling of pavement notches at intersecting roads and driveways and sealing of joints and utilities
