This project will develop upgrades to Calgarys Pathways and Bikeways Network routes (also known as 5A - Always Accessible for people of All Ages and Abilities) opening up safe, accessible, affordable, and year-round travel options for active travel along a 15km corridor in the Ward 5 Northeast Calgary communities of Martindale, Taradale, Castleridge, Falconridge and Saddle Ridge. 1.This SOR is open to pre-qualified firms only. Proponents are invited who have been pre-qualified based on specific information previously submitted through The City’s RFSO 22-2004. Proposals will only be considered from proponents that were awarded under RFSO 22-2004. 2.The City of Calgary Capital Priorities and Investment team is seeking The City is looking for a prime consultant to facilitate public engagement, and conceptual design to determine a recommended option and to develop 30% designs for the recommended option. This project will develop upgrades to Calgary’s Pathways and Bikeways Network routes (also known as 5A - Always Accessible for people of All Ages and Abilities) opening up safe, accessible, affordable, and year-round travel options for active travel along a 15km corridor in the Ward 5 Northeast Calgary communities of Martindale, Taradale, Castleridge, Falconridge and Saddle Ridge. 3.This procurement process is not intended to create, and will not create a formal, legally binding bidding process. It will instead be governed by the law applicable to direct commercial negotiations. 4. Estimated target end date is February, 2025.
