This construction package consists of a 1.25 million gallon composite elevated storage tank including the foundation, mechanical piping, appurtenances and electrical. The project also includes grading, fencing, yard piping, and site work. An alternate bid item is included for a 1.5 million gallon composite elevated storage tank. Estimate: $7,948,000 Crystal Clear Special Utility District expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities. The project will be awarded to the highest scoring respondent based on set evaluation criteria. Respondent failure to respond to the requested qualifications inquiry may result in the proposal being deemed non-responsive. Proposals may be held by Crystal Clear Special Utility District for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the proposals and evaluating respondent qualifications prior to the contract award. A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each proposal. The successful respondent will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of the contract, written by a responsible Surety Company, authorized to do business in the State of Texas.
