It is the intent of the City of Alexandria to secure pricing on Spun Pre-Stressed Wood Pole Equivalent Concrete Poles, in various lengths, for use by the City of Alexandria Electric Distribution Department. Said material to be inventoried and used on an "as needed" basis. Bids shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from the bid award date. The City of Alexandria reserves the right to award by individual item or by total low bid, whichever is in the best interest of the City of Alexandria. Award shall be based on price and reasonable delivery. The City of Alexandria considers reasonable delivery as ten (10) weeks or less.
