Renovation of a mixed-use development in Indianapolis, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
The scope of work includes demolishing and replacing overhead dry fire sprinkler piping, dry standpipe piping, and all associated components within the underground patient parking garage. The Contractor shall remove and install system piping and components such as headers, risers, DPVs, trim, fittings, hangers, sprinklers, and other related parts in accordance with the project bid drawings, technical requirements, and VHA Master Construction Specifications. The work must follow the anticipated sequence outlined in the project drawings as a baseline for completion. This project aims to replace sections of the fire suppression system currently failing due to excessive corrosion and ensure the updated system complies with the current edition of NFPA standards.
