Building Maintenance, Community Services, Human Services, Parks and Recreation, Sanitation, Street and Tree Maintenance. The City of Claremont is requesting proposals from qualified professional firms for their Citywide Sign Inventory, Assessment, and Replacement Program project. As part of the inventory and assessment, attributes such as location, sign description, photo documentation, and condition will be required. An assessment of all traffic signs will be required during daylight and nighttime. A full description of attributes is further described in the scope of work. The City intends to initiate this project in July 2024. The term of the agreement shall be for one year to complete the project. The scope of work requires a sign inventory will be conducted along approximately 140 centerline roadway miles with approximately 2,500 traffic signs. This consists of approximately 40 centerline roadway miles for Collector to Arterial Roadways and approximately 100 centerline roadway miles for Local Roadways. Project Start August 1, 2024 Project Complete December 5, 2024 Request for Clarification Due May 23, 2024 All questions, interpretations, or clarifications, either administrative or technical, must be requested in writing and directed to the Contract Administrator for the RFP process, Cari Dillman, Community Services Manager. The City must receive written requests for clarification no later than Monday, May 30, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. Such requests, if any, must be sent to the Contract Administrator by emailing cdillman@ci.claremont.ca.us.
