Each Bid should be clearly marked "BID ENCLOSED FOR TOWN OF MOUNT SUMMIT, INDIANA, 2024 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT" and the bidders name and address on the outside of the envelope. The Base Bid will include milling, resurfacing, base repair, ADA curb ramps, mobilization and demobilization in the following areas: Walnut Street, from US 36 to School Street, Prairie Knoll Drive, from Walnut Street to High Street, and Rolling Meadows Drive, from High Street to Hill Run Court. This project is proposed for summer/fall 2024. The Project, which is funded from Town funds and a Community Crossings Grant, will be constructed in up to one (1) contract division. In general, the work consists of providing all labor and material for the project. Bidders shall provide with their fee, their Company Name, complete street address (no PO Box), phone number, Fax number and the contact person's name. Any Bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids. All bids received shall remain valid and in force for 60 calendar days after the date of Bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part as specified in the solicitation when it is not in the best interest of the governmental body as determined by the purchasing agency in accordance with IC 5-22-18-2. The Owner also reserves the right to waive irregularities in any Bid, and to accept any Bid, which is deemed most favorable to the Owner.
