Colonel's Island Terminal Rail Yard Infrastructure-Phase 1. Bid must be accompanied by a bid security equal to 10 percent of bid sum. If a construction contract is awarded, successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal in amount to contract sum The proposed work consists of providing all material, equipment, and labor required to construct the first phase of an intermodal yard with a lead rack, two working tracks, and a by-pass track. The work consists of constructing approximately 17,000 feet of track, 12-acres of paved staging yard, fire protection system, grading, drainage, high-mast lighting, gate booth with canopy, pavement markings, and other ancillary items as required to complete the work. The majority of the project will occur on a previously constructed subgrade. The project is located at the Colonel's Island Terminal, Brunswick, Georgia.
