Remodeling of a transportation facility in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the remodel of a transportation facility.
City of Spartanburg and SPARTA Transit requests proposals from established General Contractor companies for the remodel of restrooms at the SPARTA Transit Facility located at 100 N. Liberty St in Spartanburg, SC. The SPARTA Public Transit System invites proposals/qualifications firms to furnish all expertise, labor and resources for complete construction of the project. The following generally highlights the services the firm will be required to perform: A. Remove and replace 6 toilets across both restrooms. (With touch free flush valves. Toilets are to be wall hung) Two of which will be ADA compliant. B. Remove and replace partitions with those that will hang from the ceiling and are Vandal resistant. C. Remove and repair walls including but not limited to (tiles, sheetrock etc.) and repair replace them with waterproof, vandal resistant materials. D. Remove sinks and replace them ADA vandal resistant sinks. The sinks shall have automatic shut off water sensors. E. Remove and replace toilet paper dispensers with vandal resistant dispensers and all bathroom accessories (vandal resistant soap dispensers, grab bars, mirrors etc.) F. Installation of a ventilation fan that exits the side of the building. G. LED lighting shall be installed and have lights turn on when entering the restroom and shut off after 5 minutes of no movement. H. Vandal resistant Hand dryers to be replacing existing hand dryers. I. Entry doors to be removed Labyrinth- style entrances
