Reference Number 0000353013 Through this Request for Proposals (RFP), the City of Solana Beach is seeking artist(s) to conceptualize and prepare a comprehensive artistic rendering/design of a new outlet metal grate for the drainage discharge structure located at Fletcher Cove Beach. The selected artist(s) will provide a design proposal that meets the engineering specifications outlined in this RFP. It is important to note that the artist(s) will not be responsible for manufacturing or installing the grate. Instead, the selected design will be used as a conceptual guide for the final product. Once a design is selected, the engineering department will include this dissipator project with the chosen design in an official bid for the larger Fletcher Cove Ramp Remodel project. The selected contractor will work closely with the engineering department to create a shop design that adheres as closely as possible to the artist's selected design. This shop design will then be used by the contractor to manufacture the grate. Question Deadline 06/13/2024 at 2:00 PM PT Questions may be addressed to Kayla Moshki at (858) 720-2438.
