Work includes consists of furnishing all labor, insurance, materials, equipment, supplies and services for: modification to existing digester clean gas compression system, including the installation of new compressor, gas piping, valves, system integration, concrete, earthwork, selective demolition, and all other associated work to furnish and install a complete and functioning CNG fueling system at the South Bend Wastewater Treatment Plant Any questions about bidding conditions must be addressed to the Owner in writing no later than June 4, 2024. Electronic bids must be on the City of South Bend Contractor's Bid for Public Work Form, accompanied by an electronic copy of a Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid plus any alternates. The City reserves the right to request supplemental information provided by the bidder, and may also conduct random inquiries of the bidder's current and previous customers regardless of prequalified status. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept a full or partial award of the bid or bids which, in its judgment, will be to the best interests of the City of South Bend. If the Board elects to award the base bid plus any alternate(s), the Board will look at the totality of the cost when determining the lowest, responsive and responsible bid. Furnishing of all labor, material, superintendence, plant, power, light, heat, fuel, water, tools, appliances, equipment, supplies, services and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work. Sole responsibility for adequacy of plant and equipment. Maintaining the Work area and site in a clean and acceptable manner. Maintaining existing facilities in service at all times except where specifically provided for otherwise herein. Site security and protection offinished and unfinished Work. Repair and restoration of Work damaged during construction Furnishing as necessary proper equipment and machinery, of a sufficient capacity, to facilitate the Work and to handle all emergencies normally encountered in Work ofthis character. Furnishing, installing, and protecting all necessary guides, track rails, bearing plates, anchor and attachment bolts, and all other appurtenances needed for the installation of the devices included in the equipment specified. Make anchor bolts of appropriate size, strength and material for the purpose intended. Furnish substantial templates and shop drawings for installation. The project will have a completion date of June 30, 2025
