**As of August 14, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Construction of Church Street Realignment at Colony Road. The scope of work consists of the widening and reconstruction of Church Street at the intersection of Colony Road. The improvements include the proposed construction of 2- lane asphalt pavement with open ditch, water line, signing and pavement markings, seeding and sodding, detention storage, storm water prevention pollution plans, and storm sewer system. Contractor is responsible for establishing and maintaining a traffic control plan in accordance with the latest version of Texas Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD) and measures shown in the plans. This description of the scope of work is general in nature and is intended as an overview of the project only. The complete detailed scope of work and bid items are contained in the construction drawings and specifications. Unit pricing required; payment will be by check. Bonds are required. Fort Bend County reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
