The Pine Township Supervisors, Columbia County, PA extends this invitation to submit a Proposal for the construction of new facilities located at the Pine Township Municipal Property. This project is for a structure design and construction project and will consist of all site and building construction required and necessary to provide a complete and finished 50W x 86L x 16H pole building. The extent of the work to be performed is noted in project documents and titled Scope of Work and Design Parameters. The Contract Documents provided by the Township are intended to provide each Bidder with the intent and requirements of this project. Proposals received after the time aforementioned will not be accepted. The Township supervisors intend to award the contract for the Work to the overall lowest qualified and responsible bidder, as determined by Township supervisors in the best interest of the Pine Township. All proposals should assume that the Work will be subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Law, and the Pennsylvania Separation in Award of Contracts Law. Regarding the Pennsylvania Separation in Award of Contracts Law, each Bidder should include all components of the Work in its Proposal, but will be required to bid out, on the Townships behalf, all separate components required to be bid separately under Pennsylvania Law (where applicable). A non-collusion affidavit is required for this Bid. A10% Bid Bond, certified check or other approved surety shall accompany the proposal. The Contractor, upon notification of Intent to Award, shall provide to the Owner, Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total Contract amount. The Township hereby reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals submitted. The Township also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in proposals received.
