The Project consists of the construction of approximately 2,136 lineal feet of 12-inch diameter PVC water main and appurtenances. The Work is described on the Contract Documents prepared by KLH Engineers, Inc. Question Deadline 05/23/2024 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents via the Messages/Vendor Discussions feature in PennBid no later than five (5) days prior to the date for receipt of bids. A certified check made payable to the Authority of the Borough of Charleroi, or a Bid Bond on the Bid Form executed by the Bidder and a surety company approved by the OWNER, in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of bid, must be submitted with each bid or bids will be considered nonresponsive and immediately rejected. The Successful Bidder Awarded This Contract Shall Provide a Performance Surety in the Amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the Contract Amount. The Authority of the Borough of Charleroi Board Reserves the Right to Award or to Reject Any and/or All Portions Thereof Proposals Submitted, and to Waive Informalities in the Bidding Process if in the Best Interest of the Authority.
