The Contractor, who is a Virginia contractor's licensed class A or B, shall furnish all necessary labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, materials, supplies and incidentals as required to satisfactorily provide general contracting services on an on-call, as needed basis to any VDOT facility located within the online Northern Staunton District. These facilities consist of buildings located throughout Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties. Contractor shall perform 75% of services awarded with subcontractors not to exceed 25%. The issuing office shall determine whether any addendum should be issued as a result of any questions or other matters raised. Provide questions no later than 5:00 PM EST on May 24, 2024. PERIOD OF CONTRACT: From July 3, 2024 through July 2, 2025 (renewable). A pre-bid conference will not be held for this solicitation; however, potential bidders are encouraged to present questions and obtain clarification relative to any facet of this solicitation. The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as "VDOT") is soliciting bids from qualified firms to is soliciting bids from qualified firms, through multiple awards, to establish a one (1) year time and materials contract to provide on-call, as-needed contracting services within the VDOT Northern Staunton District, which includes Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, and Warren Counties of the Virginia Department of Transportation, in accordance with the specifications contained herein. VDOT reserves the right to make multiple awards to all responsive and responsible bids determined to be fair and reasonable.
