The City of Irving Water Utilities Department invites Civil Engineers, Multi-Disciplinary Firms, and any other qualified professionals to submit qualifications to provide professional services related to the Hackberry Pump Station Condition Assessment located at 8500 Ranchview Drive, Irving, TX. 75063. The existing Hackberry Pump Station was constructed in 2004. The most recent pump additions were in 2016. The potable water pump station directly serves the 700 pressure zone with a firm capacity of 7.6 MGD, 640 pressure zone with a firm capacity of 54 MGD, and indirectly serves the 720 Pressure Zone by a transfer pump that provides a firm capacity of 18 MGD to the Northgate and MacArthur Pump Stations. The site also includes a sodium hypochlorite injection system that was constructed in 2006. A visual condition assessment of the pumping equipment was completed in 2019.
