If the bid exceeds $100,000, a cashier's check, a certified check or surety bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. The certified or cashier's check must be delivered to the Owner's (Construction and Properties) Offices prior to the Bid Opening; other bid securities may be uploaded during the completion of online electronic bidding. Security checks will be returned to all but the three lowest bidders after the bid opening. The three lowest bid securities will be retained until the contract is awarded. The Oklahoma Military Department (OMD) is soliciting bids for a Firm Fixed Price contract awarded according to lowest price technically acceptable vendor to install a new epoxy floor coating system at the Thunderbird Challenge Program (TCP) buildings 302 and 304. This project includes removing the existing surface coatings (Vinyl Composition Tile and/or carpet) to provide an acceptable substrate for the specified installations; preparing the surface profile in accordance with manufacturer's requirements; making repairs to the floor, as necessary, to provide a professional finished appearance and prevent accelerated wear; and applying a new epoxy floor coating system. An onsite mandatory pre-bid meeting is required.
