Bids are requested by the City of Los Angeles, Department of Airports, also known as Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), for furnishing the City as may be requested during a period of three (3) years from the effective date of the contract for: Regulation 4 testing, replacement, and repair of various types of doors, gates and dock levelers at los angeles international airport in compliance with the Request for Bids (RFB) terms and conditions, including the attached Specifications for the Purchase of Regulation 4 Testing, Replacement, and Repair of Various Types of Doors, Gates and Dock Levelers ("Specifications") and Bid Prices Verification Worksheet. The Contractor's license classification required to bid on this project is:
C-61 Limited Specialty
D-28 Doors Gates and Activating Devices Contractor
C-17 Glazing Contractor
A Valid LAFD Regulation 4 Certification for Fire Doors Testing and preferably fire apparatus (fire escape ladders). Must supply copy of LAFD Regulation #4 certifications for bid to be qualified.

Any bid submitted by a contractor, who is not licensed as specified at the time bids are due, shall be considered non-responsive and shall be rejected by LAWA, pursuant to California Business and Professions Code Section 7028.15 (e). Deadline to submit questions is Friday, April 26th at 2:00 PM (PST). LAWA reserves the right to request the use of specific billing templates supplied by LAWA and any additional substantiation regarding any request for payment if LAWA considers such additional substantiation to be in the best interests of City. City will process each request for payment, following City's normal procedure, and LAWA's Invoice Instructions
