A description of the Project is as follows: Scope of Work: The Work for this project consists of, but is not limited to, sediment, turbidity and pollution control, clearing and grubbing, maintenance of traffic, canal bypass pumping, dewatering, demolition of the existing canal culvert pipe and structures and portions of the existing street drainage, demolition of pavement, curb and sidewalk, shaping and excavation of the existing canals banks adjacent to the new culverts, construction of concrete end walls, construction of filter point grout mat, construction of drainage inlets, manholes, piping and the new culverts, relocation of an existing water main and replacement of existing gravity sewer main piping with ductile iron pipe, restoration of pavement and curb, construction of new ADA compliant sidewalks, existing pavement milling and resurfacing, construction of new pavement, replacement of pavement markings, sod, contractor prepared as-built record drawings and other miscellaneous and incidental items to provide a complete project as specified in the Contract Documents. .Location: The project is located within the 496-acre City of Sunrise Drainage Basin 15, which is bordered on the south by NW 44th Street, on the north by Commercial Boulevard, on the west by the South Florida Water Management District C-42 Canal and a portion of the Sawgrass Expressway and on the east by Nob Hill Road. Qualification Requirement: The Contractor shall have a valid State of Florida Certified General Contractor's License. The Contractor must have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of similar type, size and complexity within the past five (5) years and provide verifiable references for these projects. The City shall be the sole and final judge in determining if the Contractor meets the Qualification Requirement. Pre-bid meeting info : This site visit conducted by the City will be the only time Contractors will be granted access to the site.
