The scope of the project shall be as shown in contract documents prepared by Seay, Seay, & Litchfield, P.C. The scope includes, but is not limited to, the following: a. Removal of existing asphalt shingle roof assembly. b. Installation of new roofing assemblies consisting of self adhered roof underlayments, synthetic roof underlayments, asphalt shingles, and associated metal flashings. c. Cleaning, repairing, and replacement of existing fascias, soffits, gutters, and downspouts. Refer to unit prices. d. Repair and replacement of deteroriated wood decking and framing where necessary. Refer to unit prices. e. Cleaning and sealing of cast stone lintels and coping caps. f. Repair of existing lighting protection systems. Contractor shall provide a limited scope certification of lightning protection systems. Refer to allowances. g. Installation of elastomeric coatings at existing cupola. h. Removal, replacement, and/or abandoning of existing roof mounted skylight assemblies. i. Removal, reflashing, and reinstallation of roof curbs for roof mounted HVAC systems. j. Replacement of existing HVAC systems in various locations. Refer to alternates for scope of HVAC system replacement included within the base bid and alternates. k. Removal and replacement of existing building identification signage.
