Reference Number 0000353131 Job Location 25 Salisbury Ave North Kingstown RI 02852 Project Conditions for the Exterior Wall Restoration At Hamilton Elementary School, located at 25 Salisbury Avenue, North Kingstown, RI 02852 At the Hamilton Elementary School exterior open courtyard located adjacent to the interior Music 25 classroom located at the southwest corner of the building, the courtyard exterior south and west wall 4" thick nominal cmu veneer assemblies with cavity space rigid insulation and eye & pintel veneer reinforcing shall be removed and replaced with an exterior insulation and finish system with moisture drainage (EIFS) installed on a glass mat-faced, moisture and mold-resistant gypsum panel with a non- combustible core integrated with a factory -applied synthetic vapor permeable air/water barrier membrane mechanically fastened to 2-1/2 inch thick cold form galvanized steel framing system at 16 inches on center all mechanically fastened to the existing 8" thick nominal cmu bearing wall assembly. The two existing hollow metal exterior doors and frames located at the courtyard south and west exterior wall locations shall be removed and replaced with new galvanized steel insulated hollow metal doors and frames. The existing continuous aluminum fascia at the courtyard south and west exterior wall locations shall be removed and replaced with a new continuous two piece formed aluminum fascia system. All existing aluminum window assemblies with precast concrete floor sills shall be temporarily removed and salvaged for re-installation as part of the new EIFS veneer system installations at the courtyard south and west exterior wall locations. This project shall also include the removal of the existing eight course high deteriorated 4" thick nominal cmu veneer pieces located at the south window jamb at the east exterior wall of Storage / Office 47 and new 4" thick nominal cmu veneer pieces shall be provided and installed at this location. This project includes one add alternate which includes the removal of the existing 4" thick nominal cmu veneer with cavity rigid insulation and eye veneer horizontal reinforcing throughout the entire area of the east exterior wall of Storage / Office 47 and Library 25 and provide new 4" thick nominal cmu veneer with new cavity rigid insulation and new eye veneer horizontal reinforcing furnished and installed throughout the entire area of the east exterior wall of Storage / Office 47 and Library 25.
