This project is outlined in further detail in section four (4) of this document. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to acquire offers from various vendors, conduct a fair evaluation based on criteria listed herein, and select the candidate who best provides the County with the desired product and service. Merrimack County is a government facility that operates under the discretion of elected officials that manage county finances. Acceptance of any proposal(s) will be subject to approval by the Merrimack County Board of Commissioners. Scope of Work: 1.) Field measure to obtain all handling and dimensions. 2.) Remove (4) existing sliding device assemblies from existing transom housing. 3.) Reuse (4) existing transom housings; prep for new components. 4.) Furnish and install (4) sliding retrofit locking devices including the wheel bar unit, track set, motor, electrical switches, limit switches, and wiring harness. 5.) Reuse and modify the top of (4) existing drop bars for connection to the new device. 6.) Reuse (4) release columns and internal components. Modify as required for connection to the new devices. 7.) Reuse (4) existing lock posts, receivers, wall guides, and doors. 8.) Modify (4) existing door hangers to fit the new locking devices as required. 9.) Reuse existing field wiring to each door. 10.)
