The work included in this project consists of the following: o Rehabilitation of approximately 205,000 SY of AC Taxiways The total number of working days for completion of the project, including mobilization and demobilization, is approximately 94 Bidder's Bond: Bids must be from appropriately licensed contractor, must be sealed and accompanied by proposal bond made payable to the County of San Joaquin in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100 percent of the contract price to secure fulfillment of all the bidder's obligations under such contract. The successful bidder will further be required to furnish a Labor and Material Bond for 100 percent of the contract price to assure payment as required by law of all persons supplying labor and material in the execution of the work provided for in the contract. The bonds shall be given as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into a written contract within ten (10) calendar days after being requested to do so and will be considered as the stipulated amount of liquidated damages in the event the bidder is unable to or refuses to execute a contract for the work.
