Renovation of a residential development in National Park, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
As of August 13, 2025, this project is under construction. The County of Gloucester seeks experienced Historic Restoration General Contractors who specialize in the exterior renovations including but not limited to masonry repairs, including limited patching/brick replacement; wood trim repairs; exterior door restoration; window restoration and exterior painting to submit prequalification statements for the: Exterior Renovations at the James and Ann Whitall House 100 Hessian Avenue National Park, NJ 08063. The project generally consists of the following: 1. Project Supervision and Administration of Historic Preservation Projects 2. Masonry repairs, including limited patching/brick replacement and spot repointing; 3. Wood Trim Repairs; 4. Exterior door restoration; 5. Window restoration; and 6. Exterior Painting. All respondents will be notified in writing of the decision as to qualifications. Only those determined to be pre-qualified Historic Restoration General Contractors for this project will be invited t submit bids for the work. This property is listed on the New Jersey and National Registers of the Historic Places. All prospective bidders must demonstrate experience in the successful completion of projects of a similar scope and nature that followed the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for the Treatment of Historic Properties (Revised 1995) performed to the satisfaction of the Owner.
