The City of Pomona is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional civil design services to prepare plans and specifications for the construction of redundant (second) sewer force mains at two existing sewage pumping plants. This Proposer team must include qualified and licensed civil engineers (PE), licensed land surveyors, geotechnical design staff, and at least five years of experience with sewer force main design, coordination, and construction with public utility and infrastructure management teams. The City constructed, owned, and operated four sewage pumping plants in the past. These plants are known as Pumping Plant #1, Pumping Plant #2, Pumping Plant #3, and Pumping Plant #4. Additionally, the City owned and maintained the associated force main for each of the four pumping plants.
