The Town of Pocahontas, Virginia, is soliciting written quotes for firm pricing for certain demolition and debris removal and clean-up of fallen trees and related debris from the Pocahontas Cemetery in Pocahontas, Virginia. The successful Bidder warrants that all services provided shall conform with all applicable Federal, State and local laws and regulations. To be considered, your quote must be submitted in writing, signed by a representative authorized to bind the Bidder in the matter, dated and must be received at the Town of Pocahontas prior to the date and time stated above. Changes to the requirements in this solicitation shall be made only by written addendum. Services and any required materials shall be delivered within one hundred eighty (180) days from award of contract. Removal of fallen trees and related debris from the Pocahontas Cemetery, Pocahontas, Virginia with the following requirements: Remove all rotten, diseased, or fallen trees, and related debris or refuse. Cut and remove standing trees determined to be rotten or diseased. Clear all fallen trees, branches, etc., haul away debris. Services will be delivered around the perimeter of the cemetery along the wall. No vehicles shall be permitted on the grounds of the cemetery. In order to minimize the potential for damage to funerary monuments and/or increased soil erosion, all debris should be carried from the site and NOT dragged. Contractor must protect funerary markers from damage as necessary. This solicitation is for the full job, including equipment, labor, materials, and clean up. AWARD METHOD: Award shall be based on bidder responsiveness, price, and capacity. Quotes must be endorsed by person(s) having the authority to bind the individual or company. This quote document and the purchase order issued as a result of this solicitation shall serve as the Contract. The Contractor shall, within 15 days after notification of award, execute and deliver to the Town all Contract Documents and other forms such as insurance or bonds required by the Quote.
