Wellhead Treatment for 1,4-Dioxane at Well No. 8 (Contract E - Electrical Construction) Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Greenlawn Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Deposits for one SET will be completely refunded to bidders who return the SET in good condition within ten (10) days after the date for receipt of bids. Bidders will receive one-half of the deposit amount for the SET returned after ten (10) days and on or before thirty (30) days following the bid date. None of the deposit will be refunded if the SET is returned more than thirty (30) days following the bid date. Deposits for plans and specifications will be completely refunded to non-bidders who return the original SET in good condition within 48 hours of receipt of SET. Non-bidders will receive one-half of the deposit amount for the SET returned in good condition within ten (10) days following the bid date. None of the deposit will be refunded to non-bidders if the SET is returned more than ten (10) days following the bid date.
