Site work for a civil project in Palatka, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and development.
The work shall consist of, but not be limited to, clearing and removal of vegetative and non-vegetative debris within the drainageway of Dog Branch from the connection with the St. Johns River to the pump station of the Edgefield Regional Stormwater Treatment parcel. Dredging of the waterway is not required as part of this project, but incidental removal of sediment should be anticipated as debris is removed from the drainageway. All material is to be hauled offsite and properly disposed. An area for staging of equipment and material is available adjacent to the project on the County's Edgefield storage site. BID BOND - Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the COUNTY for five percent (5%) of the total amount of the BID. PERFORMANCE BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. PAYMENT BOND in the amount of 100% of the CONTRACT PRICE, from a corporate surety approved by the COUNTY will be required. Tentative Contract Term: 7/9/2024 - 10/11/2024 The County reserves the right to award to bidders who best meet the need of the County. The Putnam County Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
