Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to an educational facility in Piqua, Ohio. Completed plans call for the addition of a 58,000-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Bidder shall furnish a Bid Guaranty, in the form prescribed in Sections 153.54, 153.57, and 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code, in the form of either: (1) a bond for the full amount of the Base Bid plus the amount of all Add Alternates included in the Bidderis bid, in the form of the Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond included in the Contract Documents; or (2) a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit in a form satisfactory to the Owner in an amount equal to 10% of the bid. Bid amount shall be the total of all sums bid, including all add alternatives, but excluding all deduct alternatives. NOTE: AIA or EJCDC Bid Bond forms are not acceptable. The Contractor awarded the General Contract (General Contractor) will be responsible for the performance and coordination of any and all subcontractors and suppliers either directly or indirectly contracted with the General Contractor. Only one contract will be issued by the Owner for constructing the Project, the General Contract, which will cover all scopes of work necessary to construct the Project. The Project is the Addition and Renovation Project (ithe Projecti). The Project and Work for the Project consists of construction of a 56,900 square foot addition to accommodate new classrooms and project laboratories, and renovation and reconfiguration of the existing 7,508 square foot space to optimize functionality and modernize the environment, at the Upper Valley Career Center, in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Design Professional. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing wage rates do not apply. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening; the Board reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject any or all bids, and conduct necessary investigations to determine bidder responsibility. Project will include the demolition and removal of utilities, vegetation, pavement, walls etc. as necessary to construct a building addition and its associated pavement, parking facilities, utilities, landscaping, signage and any other proposed improvements which are needed to service the facility Question Deadline 06/06/2024 at 12:00 PM Et
