Reference Number 0000352537 The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit professional design services to develop construction documents that guide necessary future improvements to the underground utility, drainage, and surface infrastructure along a 475-foot section of Summer Road adjacent to two independently owned 20 foot retaining walls. The existing section of road contains areas with greater than 15% longitudinal slope. The majority of the roadway contains no drainage infrastructure. There is no curb and gutter, no swale, no v-pan, and no defined drainage path. Stormwater runoff sheet flows down the roadway until it arrives at a curb inlet at the base of the roadway. This has resulted in significant deterioration of the asphalt roadway surface. Likewise, the roadway does not meet standard widths nor slopes.
