The City encompasses an area of approximately 21 square miles, 329 miles of Streets, 1870 intersections, 550 miles of sidewalks, 47,000 Street Trees, 6 Public Libraries, a Municipal Airport, Transit System, 46 Parks & Recreation Amenities, 6 Fire Stations, 1 Police Station and 1 Police Community Center, and has an estimated population of approximately 146,115, which makes Torrance one of the top 10 cities in Los Angeles County in regards to population. The site is approximately 0.8 acres. See Exhibit A - which will be used as the basis for the project.
