Renovation of a mixed-use development in East Palo Alto, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1. Remove gravel and or coating down to the base sheet as best as possible and properly dispose of. 2. Remove all curb flashing, and wall flashing membranes down to substrate and properly dispose of. 3. Remove all metal flashings (re-use), coping caps (re-use)), counter flashings (reuse), etc. 4. Mechanically install 1/4 " Dens Deck Prime Board to all curb and wall flashings. 5. Apply Pro Stop Primer to dens deck wall and curb flashing substrates. 6. Install HPR Torch Base sheet at all curbs, and wall flashings. 7. Install Stressply IV Plus FR Mineral cap sheet at all curbs and wall flashings. 8. Install termination bar and Tuff Stuff sealant to all curb and wall flashing tie offs. 9. Apply Garla Block 2K Primer to roof field membrane at 0.5gal per sq. 10.Install Green-Lock Plus White Coating at 2.5 gal per sq, and 3/8" Lucas Gravel at 200 lbs per Square. Last Day for RFIs/questions submittals from bidders June 03, 2024 Epaa Roof Restoration Project All Bidders must have and maintain a Class C-39 contractor's license in order for their bids to be considered responsive. Bidder may bid only on work of a kind for which it is properly licensed by the California Contractors' State License Board. Joint venture Bidders must possess a joint venture license. Bid proposals should be accompanied by a certified cashier's check or Bidder's bond for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the maximum contract price. The cashier's check or bid bond shall be made payable to the order of the District. The cashier's check or bond shall be given as a guarantee that the Bidder will enter into the Agreement if awarded the Project, and in the case of refusal or failure to enter into the Agreement within ten (10) calendar days after notification of the award of the Agreement, the cashier's check or bond, as the case may be, shall be retained by the District as liquidated damages. Failure to provide bid security, or bid security in the proper amount, may result in rejection of the bid. Cashiers or certified checks that are filed with the bid will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidder(s) within ten (10) calendar days after the award of the Agreement resulting from this bid process
