Site work for a road / highway in Texas City, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The work consists of providing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and plant to construct Clearing and Grubbing for Lago Mar East Phase I. The project is located in M.U.D. No 58 in Galveston County, Texas. From the Houston Central Business District, head south on IH-45 approximately 30 miles, exit onto the southbound frontage road toward FM 1764/FM 2004, take a U-turn at the traffic signal for FM 2004, and continue north on IH45 northbound frontage road for approximately 2.5 miles to the Holland Road/IH-45 Interchange. The site is located approximately 0.5 miles northeast of the Holland Road/IH-45 interchange in Texas City, Texas. Scope of Work of the Contract Documents includes the following: Clearing & Grubbing in Lago Mar East Phase I. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents and execute the Bonds on the forms provided and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver, at the bid opening address, the original certified or cashier's check within one (1) business day of receipt of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid. The successful bidder, if any, will be the responsible bidder, which in the Board's judgment will be most advantageous to the District and result in the best and most economical completion of the Project.
