The City of Sedro-Woolley, Washington, is soliciting interest from consulting firms with expertise in civil engineering, Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)Facilities Planning and design, surveying, permitting, and other related professional services. The City is preparing to begin planning and design efforts for the WWTP Facilities Plan and WWTP Upgrade Design. The City intends to select the best qualified engineering consultant or consultant team for this work by June 2024;construction is planned for2028. Please submit qualifications demonstrating your firm's ability to perform this work out lined in the full RFQ. Each proposal will be reviewed and evaluated by personnel from the City of Sedro-Woolley and the preferred candidate will be offered a contract for development of the Facilities Plan and may include subsequent design and construction management phases if required. Selection of the best candidate(s)will be based upon a pointrating system to evaluate the following items: Key personnel; Firm knowledge of design, environmental regulations and permitting; Demonstrate a successful working relationship with permit agencies at the local, state, and federal levels; Firm experience with Department of Ecology regulatory requirements and grant funding; Availability to begin work; Experience in Sedro-Woolley; past performance/ references. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
