A schedule of the minimum wages for all labor classifications as determined by the Secretary of Labor pursuant to Section 115 of the Federal Aid Highway Act of 1956 is included in the proposal. All individuals, firms, partnerships or corporations intending to bid, must file a statement showing their qualifications with the Department of Transportation on forms prepared for that purpose at least ten (10) days prior to opening of bids. No authorization to bid will be granted to a prospective bidder not prequalified. If contract price is $35,000 or more, the successful bidder will be required to furnish electronically, at the time of approval, a contract bond in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of their bid. NH DOT - Durable Pavement Markings DESCRIPTION OF WORK The project constructs permanent grooved pavement markings (durable polyurea) along Tier 1 and 2 roadways within three (3) sections: I-93 in Woodstock-Lincoln, I-93 Southbound in Manchester-Hooksett between the I-293 junctions, and US 202 from Hillsborough at NH 31 to Hopkinton at the I-89 SB on ramp. Ramps are included in each section. This project has a total length of 50.2 miles and is located within Districts 1, 3, 4, and 5. This Contract will replace all existing 6 travel way and lane paint markings with 6 Grooved Retroreflective Pavement Markings. The existing 12 gore lines will be replaced with 12 Grooved Retroreflective Pavement Markings. The Woodstock-Lincoln section will install all lines on the I-93 Northbound and Southbound mainline and extend onto the ramps. The Manchester-Hooksett section will install all lines on I-93 Southbound and extend onto the ramps. The Hillsborough-Hopkinton section will install all white lines along US 202 including lane lines and onto the ramps. Centerline on US 202 is not included on this project. This project will include two (2) Retroreflectometer Systems to be provided directly to NHDOT and installed by the vendor on NHDOT vehicles.
