Site work for a water / sewer project in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of July 10, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on July 2024. The project will remove sediment from the Coldbrook stone-lined channel and culverts starting at Edna Drive and ending approximately one mile north near E. Seneca Turnpike. Sections undergoing sediment removal shall utilize bypass pumping for creek flow. All vegetation and stumps are to be removed from the channel bank walls. Sediment will be disposed of offsite at a landfill designated by the city. The project also includes clearing and grubbing, stump removal, and tree removal. 200 feet of channel wall repair included. Site restoration is required. Stream protection and erosion and sediment control are required. The project has an 18% MBE and 12% WBE goals. In addition, this contract requires that one or more City residents perform twenty percent (20%) of total in-state Work Force Hours.
