This Project generally includes the following: The City of Canfield will resurface the eastbound lane of East Main Street (US 224). The approximate length is 2,200 linear feet and the work is generally located between Fairview Avenue and Hillside. The improvements include pavement planing and installation of asphalt intermediate course and asphalt surface course. Contractor shall be made aware that time is of the essence for this project. All work shall be completed within thirty (30) days of the date of Notice of Award. Document notes : Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office. Each bidder must be a registered plan holder with ms consultants, inc. to be eligible to submit a bid for this project. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. Bids for the above-described work must be submitted on blanks furnished with the bidding documents. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty made payable to the City of Canfield, OH in the form of either: (1) A bond for the full amount of the bid, or (2) A certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305, Ohio Revised Code, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount pursuant to Chapter 153 of the ORC.
