The South Coast British Columbia Transportation Authority (TransLink) is responsible for the regional transportation system of Metro Vancouver, which includes ownership, operation, and maintenance of the following five bridges: (a) Golden Ears Bridge (not part of scope); (b) Pattullo Bridge (not part of scope); (c) Knight Street Bridge; (d) Westham Island Bridge; and, (e) Canada Like Bike and Pedestrian Bridge. The purpose of this Market Sounding is to identify potential companies who could operate, maintain, and repair TransLink's Bridges (excluding the Golden Ears Bridge & Patullo Bridge), collectively known as Service Area T. A subsequent RFP process will be conducted to engage a Contractor for the Highway Maintenance Agreement (a three years term with an optional two years extension exercisable in the sole discretion of TransLink).
