F592-00 Creekside Medical Withdrawal Management Interim 10 Beds (1st Floor) MHSU has a long-term plan in place to support the relocation and expansion of Creekside medical withdrawal management beds, currently located on the 1st floor of the Creekside Withdrawal Management Centre (CWMC). However, due to the growing demand, an interim 10 medical withdrawal management beds need to be built and operational within the current Creekside footprint. C089-00 Creekside Withdrawal Management Center MHSU Consolidation-Second Floor (2nd Floor) This project will consolidate addiction medicine and substance use services across the second floor of the Creekside Medical Withdrawal Management Center (Creekside) located in Surrey to optimize care and space, as well as provide increased integration via the environmental layout. Both projects (F592-00 on the 1st floor and C089-00 on the 2nd floor) are in the SMH Creekside MHSU building. Construction may start around the same time, with a possible 1-2 week gap. Before the 2nd-floor project (C089-00) construction begins, the MI Transcription department will be moved to Central City (handled by FHA). The CM Proponents should verify the site after the move and before the construction. The construction at the 2nd-floor has two phases. Phase one is to renovate the MI Transcription area. Once phase 1 is complete, operations will move people into the finished area before starting phase 2 (renovation at the rest areas of 2nd floor). These two projects will include assessments of existing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, finishes, millwork, codes and other related services to ensure the facility can meet the needs of operation as well as meeting current environmental standards and safety.
