Contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to construct bus stop improvements at various locations in the cities of Gonzales and Soledad, as described in the attached design and specifications. Contractor will develop traffic control plans to obtain encroachment permits from the cities of Gonzales and Soledad. Contractor will provide progress reports and photos of the project, sharing updates as necessary A contract may be awarded, pending approval of the Monterey-Salinas Transit District Board of Directors, to the lowest responsive responsible bidder. Any requested information omitted from your bid packet will result in your bid being deemed non-responsive. MST reserves the right to: 1. Accept or reject any or all proposals at its sole discretion. 2. Cancel this solicitation at any time, for any reason, at its sole discretion. 3. Issue subsequent Requests for Proposal. 4. Postpone opening for its own convenience. 5. Remedy technical errors in the Request for Proposal process. 6. Approve or disapprove the use of particular sub consultants. 7. Negotiate with any, all, or none of the Proposers. 8. Solicit best and final offers from all or some of the Proposers. 9. Award a contract to one or more Proposers. 10. Accept other than the lowest offer. 11. Waive informalities and irregularities in proposals.
