Lasalle Parish School System Paving Project Only Contractors licensed according to Contractor's Licensing Law, R.S. 37:2151-2163, shall be considered if his bid is greater than $50,000.00 and shall show his license number on exterior of Bid Envelope and above his signature or the signature of his duly authorized representative. BID SECURITY equal to five percent (5%) of the Total Bid shall be in the form of a bid bond or certified check or cashier s check or prescribed by LA RS 38:2218.A must be attached to and made a part of the bid. If a bid bond is provided, it shall be on the provided form and only on the provided form. Bid Bonds must be written by a qualified company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. The successful Bidder will be required to comply with all FEMA Procurement Disaster Assistance Team Contract requirements. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after actual date of the opening thereof. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids in accord with the Bid Law.
