The work generally consists of the rehabilitation of scour protection to the S4 sewer line at Site 3 and will include the establishment of site access and erosion control (e.g., temporary cofferdams, stream diversion, stream crossing, etc.), the selective demolition of the existing scour protection, the supply and installation of 22 tons of bedding stone, 300 square yards of geotextile, 172 square yards of articulated concrete mattresses, cast-in-place concrete, 85 tons of riprap, and stone filled gabion baskets, and site restoration. BID SECURITY: Bid Security in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid shall accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. CONTRACT SECURITY: The Bidder to whom a Contract is awarded shall furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in an amount equal to the Contract Price.
